Frosted & Privacy Glass

Privacy that never needs a switch.

An installer squeegeeing a blue geometric privacy film onto a full-height storefront glass wall inside a shopping centre.
Film going onto a full-height wall.

Frosted privacy film or carved glass for Houston offices, corridors, doors and shower screens: permanent privacy, no electronics.

Two routes to the same finish: film is quicker and comes off cleanly when the tenant changes, and carved glass is permanent and holds finer detail.

How much of the glass you cover is the real decision. A band at seated eye level keeps a room bright while taking the desks off display; a pattern does the same job and carries the brand; full coverage shuts the view entirely.

A band at seated eye level is the usual answer for an office. A pattern does the same job and carries the brand at the same time. Full coverage is for the rooms where nobody should see in at all.

Before you ask

What we need
from you

Send whatever you already have. If the artwork is not right for glass we will say so, and tell you what would make it work.

  • 01ArtworkA vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) carries the finest detail. A high-resolution PNG or JPG works for most pieces, and a photograph of the old one works when that is all there is.
  • 02QuantityOne piece, a matched set or a full run. Tell us roughly how many and whether every piece is the same.
  • 03The dateWhen you need it in your hands, and whether that date can move.
  • 04Where it goesA desk, a wall, an opening, a gift box or a shipping crate. It changes what we suggest.

Questions

Privacy glass,
answered.

Film or carved glass?

Film is quicker and comes off cleanly when the tenant changes. Carved glass is permanent and holds finer detail. If the building is leased, film is usually the better answer.

Can the privacy band carry our logo?

Yes. A band, a pattern and a logo are the same job: it is a question of how much of the glass gets covered.

Will the room go dark?

No. Frosted glass diffuses the light rather than blocking it, which is the point of a band at seated eye level.

Can you work in an occupied office?

Film is applied on site, and glass is made in the shop and fitted on site.

Do you install privacy film outside Houston?

Yes. The shop is on W 34th Street in Houston, and film and glass are measured on site and fitted across the Houston metro, from Katy and Cypress to Sugar Land, Pearland, Kingwood and The Woodlands. See the service area, or ask if your address is not on it.

Got something in mind?

Send us the idea.
We will tell you
what it takes.

A logo file, a photograph, a rough sketch on the back of something. That is enough to start. Tell us what the piece is for and roughly how many, and you will get a real answer back rather than a brochure.
