About the Studio

The creative studio, and the forty years behind it.

The workspace

Everything is made here.

Artisan Glass Concepts is the creative and decorative glass studio of Etch Houston, the architectural sign and branding company on West 34th Street. Etch Houston covers the full commercial range: signage, graphics, window film, awards and fabrication. This studio is where that same shop turns to the work in glass.

Four decades of glass: etched, engraved, sand-carved, illuminated and installed across Texas. It is the material this shop is known for, and the one this studio is built around.

Same building, same craftspeople, same four decades. One commissioned piece and a run of several hundred are different problems, and we take both.

Five stars,
and the reasons why.

These are Google reviews left for Etch Houston, the shop behind this studio: the same team, the same building, the same glass.

  • Great experience working with the company! Prices can’t be beat and the craftsmanship is impeccable. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my first project and look forward to seeing more work from them. Highly recommend!

  • Have used the company many times and have always received top quality work and excellent customer service. The turn around on quotes has been very fast and the scheduling is flexible.

  • Great Architectural Artisans! I was able to find more than what I had in mind for my business. I wanted to get some signs for my business and found out that there are more things I could get to make my business more interesting, like prints on glass — it makes our office look super.

The record

Forty years of it

The work on this site is recent. The archive behind it is not, and it is still being pulled together: early Etch Houston jobs, the pieces that are still standing around Houston, and the photographs that go with them.

If you have a piece we made, we would like a photograph of it.

Send us the idea.
We will tell you
what it takes.

A logo file, a photograph, a rough sketch on the back of something. That is enough to start. Tell us what the piece is for and roughly how many, and you will get a real answer back rather than a brochure.
